The “Floral Sea Bijie·Cave Paradise Zhijin” 2022 Happy Fluorescent Run event has come to a successful conclusion!

To thoroughly implement the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection of Guizhou Province, as well as the guiding instructions and directives he gave to Guizhou and Bijie, and to carry out the Plan for Promoting National Fitness, celebrate the successful designation of Zhijin Cave as a national 5A-level tourist attraction, and boost the integrated development of sports and tourism across the county, the "Floral Bijie—Cave Paradise Zhijin" Ancient Town Happy Glow Run event was successfully concluded on the evening of July 21!
To thoroughly implement the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection of Guizhou Province, as well as the guiding instructions and directives he issued regarding Guizhou and Bijie, and to carry out the Plan for Promoting National Fitness, and in celebration of Zijing Cave’s successful designation as a national 5A-level tourist attraction—thus boosting the integrated development of sports and tourism across the county—the “Flower Sea Bijie—Cave Paradise Zijing” Ancient Town Happy Glow Run event was successfully concluded on the evening of July 21!
This event was jointly participated in by 500 cadres and staff from various units directly under the county, 100 representatives from associations, 100 running enthusiasts, and another 100 participants. The event route is as follows: Pingyuan Ancient Town Zhijin Hotel Square (starting point) → North Gate of Pingyuan Ancient Town (Yushan Intersection) → Yushan Road → Wenteng Street → Zhijin Pavilion (finish line). Around 2 p.m., the contestants began arriving at the event venue one after another. At noon, the Zhijin Hotel was bathed in scorching sunlight, and the temperature was still somewhat sweltering—but nothing could dampen the athletes’ boundless enthusiasm. First, the contestants checked in, took photos at the打卡 points, and changed into their competition attire. Before the race, participants engaged in on-site graffiti art and took photos at the打卡 points.

Pre-race performance
20:00–20:40 County leaders officially announce the start of the “Flower Sea Bijie – Dongtian Zhijin” Happy Fluorescent Run. The starting gun is fired, and the pace-setter leads the way (jogging) → arriving at the North Gate of Pingyuan Ancient Town → Yushan Road → Wenteng Street → Zhijin Pavilion.
After the launch ceremony concluded, the athletes made their way to the starting line. At the sound of the starting gun, more than a hundred athletes—each holding glow sticks and wearing fluorescent-colored attire—rushed onto the track. Their faces were filled with confident smiles. As a gentle evening breeze swept through, the air felt pleasantly cool, and a grand sporting event combining fitness and scenic enjoyment was officially underway!

Although this was a running competition, the atmosphere at the scene was remarkably relaxed. People gathered in groups of three or five, marching in step with one another, enjoying the thrill of exercise while admiring the night-time scenery of Zhijin. Among the running队伍 were also several young children who participated with an unwavering spirit of perseverance—and each little competitor successfully completed the entire course!
