From July 3 to 4, 2023, the World City Brand Conference and the "Great Wall Award—Excellent Cultural and Tourism Brands" Gala were grandly held at City of Dreams—MGM Macau in Cotai, Macao, China. The conference was themed “Cities, Brands, Mutual Learning, and the Future,” and comprised a series of events including the Opening Ceremony of the World City Brand Conference, a Main Forum, four Thematic Forums, and the "Great Wall Award—Excellent Cultural and Tourism Brands" Gala.

The conference is themed “Cities, Brands, Mutual Learning, and the Future,” and comprises a series of events including the opening ceremony of the World Cities Brand Conference, a main forum, four thematic forums, and the grand launch event for the “Great Wall Award—Excellent Cultural and Tourism Brands.”

Hundreds of industry elites, government representatives, and expert scholars from home and abroad have been invited to delve deeply into the topics and issues that are currently attracting attention in these sectors. During the conference, the results of the “Great Wall Award—Excellent Cultural and Tourism Brands” 2022-2023 annual selection were officially announced, and “Baozhen Hometown: Dongtian Zhi Jin” was awarded the “Outstanding Case Award for County-Level Brand Building and Promotion.”
